Who wins?
Hong Kong has once again proved it is different from anywhere else on earth. While I am sure there have been previous cases where FIFA has fined national teams because their fans have booed the anthem of an opposing country, this must be the first time in history that a team has been fined because its fans booed the anthem of their own country. Beijing may consider the fine a victory for China, but is it? In fact it could be seen as a moral victory for Hong Kong, because it draws the world's attention to the fact that many Hong Kong people do not want to show any allegiance to a dictatorial state they had no say in becoming part of.

I see the Hong Kong v PRC match is currently still due to take place at the Stadium rather than Mong Kok (according to that fountain of all knowledge, Wikipedia). Whatever the venue, the extended Ulaca family will be there. There may be a splash of yellow too.
A splash of yellow, Ulie? I hope you're not referring to the well documented practices of Liverpool football supporters.
well, like the match in Shenzhen, every HK person going to the game will have their background checked (unlike in Shenzhen where HK fans have to go thru one entrance and have Chinese Security Riot police right next to their section...)
re: the HK vs. PRC match location at the Stadium, I will believe it when I see it. (Wikipedia isn't updated very often...) But the tickets are selling like hotcakes...
wish I was there waving the old HK flag at the match...
